After researching for months, I chose the Hoverfly Ourea. The best feature, hands down, is the removable battery. It makes charging secure and easy, and itβs lighter than I expected. Assembly was straightforward. A reliable and fun commuter bike that puts a smile on my face every morning.
This electric bike was very easy to assemble. Instructions were clear and everything fit perfectly. The quality feels solid and durable. The motor power and battery life are great for daily commuting. Smooth ride, strong brakes, and excellent value for the price!
I am very satisfied with this scooter. It is easy to use, stable, and very safe. I especially recommend it for older people, as it provides comfort and freedom of movement. It folds quickly and is easy to transport. An excellent product, well worth the money!
Here are my observations and opinions about this T3 mobility scooter:
- Putting it together took some time, but the instructions are clear enough.
- It's a very simple design with minimum extras.
- There are foot rests, but there is no "floor" for anything else to rest on.
- There is no lock or key. Anyone can press the power buttons and activate it.
- The horn is loud and works great.
- The LED front light is bright.
- It takes wide turns.
- Change from forward to reverse is with a left right switch.
- Press down on the right lever to accelerate.
- The blue paint job is very nice looking.
- It uses a proprietary charger.
The benefit of this unit is how compact it can get when folded, thus allowing it to be easily stored in a car. It's great for light duty use on smooth surfaces. The storage capacity is limited to the small basket on the front.
It makes a great addition to anyone who needs additional mobility.
I got the Hoverfly mobility scooter for my mom, and itβs been a great choice! Itβs easy to fold and fits perfectly in the car. The three wheels offer stability, making it simple for her to get around busy places like grocery stores. She loves the adjustable seat and how smooth the ride is over bumps. Plus, she can go about 13 miles on a charge. Itβs really helped her regain her independence, and Iβm so glad we chose it!
My mobility scooter has been a total game-changer. Itβs comfortable, easy to maneuver, and surprisingly quick. The battery lasts longer than expected, and the smooth ride makes getting around so much easier. Definitely worth it for anyone needing reliable mobility support.
Can't beat this scooter for the money. I can lift in and out of car by myself(female). Fits in car, but might not fit in compact trunk. Will most likely fit in backseat of compact car. I have a crossover suv so not sure, but it is a tight fit in my trunk. It is well made, durable, speedy and my 82 year old mom loves it. Make sure you are following directions for charging battery. Don't leave plugged in longer than 8 hrs, charge at least once every 2 weeks, etc. To make sure battery lasts. The only negative thing I have to say about the design is the steering tilts and is adjustable. But the adjustment for the tilt is at the bottom of handle where someone of limited mobility can't reach,BUT not a huge deal if they have someone helping lift out of car and set up for them. No a big deal at all. It's VERY well made, takes literally less than a minute to pull out of car and have set up for mom and then she is off. She loves the freedom when it comes to shopping of not having me hovering around her as she browses stores. She can run it around neighborhood and she likes the ease of steering. She also likes that the seat pivots so she can easily get in and put of it and the arms will lift up and down. Even comes with headlight! We love it. Highly recommend. It has 2 speeds slow and fast. Fast is more than walking speed.
I got this scooter for my grandpa, and itβs been a great choice! The adjustable, rotating seat makes it easy for him to get on and off without any trouble. Heβs a bit taller, so the legroom is perfect, and heβs very comfortable even after using it for a while. The scooter handles bumps and uneven surfaces really well, which is important since he likes to take it outside sometimes.
The safety features are a huge bonus. The scooter slows down on slopes, so I donβt have to worry about him going too fast, and the turn-over protection gives us both peace of mind. The battery lasts quite a while β about 12 miles on a full charge β and itβs nice that we can charge it anywhere since the battery is removable.
Overall I like the scooter. Its lightweight and battery last a long time. The only things that I dont like is the turn radius is bad and the foot area is small.
We received our Hoverfly e-bike promptly. The bike had some motor problems, but I want to commend GoTrax/Hoverfly for their excellent customer support including great communication and a full refund of purchase price.
I live in the city and my job is 7 miles each way I have to charge it Everytime because there is about 10 percent battery left .I put a tire liner on the rear and the bike can't hardly handle it.I barely can make it to work on a full charge.10 miles tops on 1 charge.
Iβm very pleased with my new scooter. It came with all the tools to assemble it. Iβm am a 91 veteran living in a mobile home park that close to a shopping center. I now can visit the neighborhood. Eldon H
I purchased a Hoverfly T5 in October and still cannot use it because I didnβt get the parts to put it together! Called repeatedly, emails and nothing. Sent detailed pictures and still NOTHING! I donβt know what to do. I have a $1400 Scooter piece of junk! Please help me. Donβt purchase from this company. I really need this scooter.
This is the worst experience Iβve ever had would not like in a product that I returned back to green scooters and still have not received a refund from this company. They are horrible run why you can. These two green scooters are very bumpy thereβs no shocks and when I try to explain that two very elderly people who had cancer one with a heart issue would be riding these, but they were terrible. We couldnβt get them to charge and we couldnβt read the lights because they would turn on they would turn off so we were unsure to take them too far out very stressful. These people have refused to give me my thousand $64.23 back And has gone so far to lie and send in documentation as though they did please beware they boast these things and good things about this product that are not good and when you try to return, they try to make me return the two scooters by charging me $300 to return them and when I refuse now theyβve shut down to where I have to practically file a lawsuit to get my money back .. I will never stop fighting to get my money back. They are thieves. Iβve called them out. God sees them and they will be returning my money. I will never purchase another Scooter for these people very rude. They will do anything to keep from doing a refund and the product sucks these two scooters are terrible. They donβt charge. They donβt keep the light on. I bought them in good faith that hey this is a good thing and when if you find a problem with their products, forget it theyβre gonna find any excuse not to refund you your money or hear your story. They donβt care

It's an okay bike. Be careful where you leave it. It's very easy to knock over. It will help you up a hill if fully charged but you have to fully pedal up a hill if less than half charged. Pedals are set a little further back than they should be. Beware they may send you wrong color. I ordered black and received orange not sure how that happened since there is a large sticker of an orange bike on box and they were out of orange online when I ordered.
I purchased this for vacation - I am mobile except for long walks- Was impressed by the quality for the price. Believe it will last longer than some we looked at- The power was perfect and I felt safe. The only negative for me was there was not a lot of room for your legs - would have liked a few more inches there
This mobility scooter has been a great purchase for my mom. The color is awesome, and it's easy to operate, which is perfect considering her limited hand strength. Assembly is straightforward, with simple instructions. Folding it down is easy: just remove the seat, loosen the steering column, and fold it down. The speed is great, with adjustable settings for slower or faster speeds - it can go quite fast! The steering is designed to prevent tipping, since the scooter is lightweight. The seat is also made very well to get off of the scooter by pulling the lever near the seat and it swivels to the side get off. Overall, we're very pleased with the scooter, and mom is enjoying her newfound freedom since she hasnβt been able to do much outside due to her mobility. Sheβs now able to go down to the corner store with ease. We love it!!!
This hover fly mobility scooter has been a wonderful purchase for my daughter on oxygen. It arrived with very little assembly needed, and what was needed was simple with easy to read instructions.
The seat could be placed in a perfect position for my 5 foot tall daughter to sit comfortable and close enough to have her feet on the angled platforms. Being able to adjust the steering arm cave it custom fit for her.
Scooter is easy to operate and my daughter loved the way it handled and was able to go up hills easily. She doesnβt like going fast so being able to adjust that made her happy.
With a fully charged battery, she has more freedom with less worry about being stranded with a dead battery. I usually drop her off with the scooter at Fred Meyerβs where she can enjoy some independence and take her time shopping. She only has to take a spare oxygen concentrator battery and keep track of that. The weight is surprisingly light, and by removing the battery and seat can be lifted into the back of my SUV for transport.
A scooter does well on gravel and grass as well as sidewalks, and thereβs no worry of it tipping with having four wheels. I like the sporty look of it, the shiny color. My daughter likes how comfortable the seat is and the armrest that can flip out of the way.
All in all, we are very satisfied with this purchase and very happy with the price.
Bought a green T3 assembly instructions were very accurate but a pain to assemble, required both hands in some steps and the way the seat secures was difficult to thread the bolt through. Advertises a removable seat which may be true but have to hammer bolt to get to move out of
stem to be able to remove seat. Reason - stem has a shaped hole for the bolt head used to secure the bolt to keep tight and seat in place. Only easy step was the charging of the battery the first time. Battery has switch on it, handle bars has on/off switch too - have no idea why two switches are needed (?) on my old pride gogo traveller only has one on/off using a key so seems redundant to me overall. Seat is very secure but for someone with limited hip mobility needs to be a lock swivel - recommend consideration of a redesign of seat matrix to make a locking swivel instead of just a shaft and bolt mechanism. Also uses a switch to control front or reverse - again the pride gogo traveler has push levers on handle bar - one for forward one for reverse much easier to master that way. The T3 also continues to move or will roll when entering and exiting the device - seems unsafe to me so I have to be careful how fast I get up or sit down. Should be a way to lock the wheels from moving like on manual wheel chair - simply like an up down manual lever should work I would think. Not super satisfied with the product but does work ok. I think next time I will go back to pride gogo traveler series instead. Have not tried to fold into travel mode for my van yet. Web site says when completely ready to travel weighs sixty pounds, I have a large animal scale I will use to measure that fact (I suspect it may weigh more than that from extracting it from the shipping box to assemble) :-!
I was actually nervous taking it out for the first time. I was afraid I would be stranded and no way to get back to the apartment. But the Hoover fly proved to be an excellent ride and comfortable. I have more faith in myself and the Hoover fly four rides in the future
I was hesitant to get a mobility scooter, but the Hoverfly T4 has completely changed my perspective. Last weekend, I took it to the park with my grandson, and I was able to keep up with him without any pain or fatigue. It's smooth, quiet, and feels very safe. I'm so grateful for the freedom it has given me.
Hoverfly T4 has been a game-changer for me! It's incredibly powerful and handles the slopes in my neighborhood with ease. The battery life is impressive β I can run all my errands for a couple of days on a single charge. It's also very comfortable and the fact that it can be disassembled is a huge plus for storage and transport. I feel so much more independent and mobile. Highly recommend this scooter!
The two screws for the handle bar attachment was frustrating as the nut kept dropping and wouldnβt thread easily. When I first plugged it in, it showed green light but was not fully charged. After a few hours it turned on. Driving on the sidewalk is very bumpy s it goes over each seam in the concrete and the battery indicator flashes on and off. Hopefully I can get used to the hardness of the ride since there are no shock absorbers. Hope it will go on small gravel paths like at the zoo. ?? I purchased for the ease of getting it in and out of the car ( I live alone) and want to take to outdoor fairs and farmerβs markets which are often in parking lots and to keep up with grandchildren. Customer service answered my question quickly!!
I love the hoverfly scooter. Easy to assemble, fun to ride and pretty cool looking too! First trip out was Halloween trick or treating and it was super fun. Thanks hoverfly!
I have had excellent support with hoverfly employee Lydia. If I had any concerns or questions she has always been my source to answer them. I give the company and Lydia 5 stars.
