No suspension, it's a bumpy ride even on smooth surfaces

Will this GXL MAX electric scooter get you from point A to point B? Yes. It will, albeit with a teeth-chattering ride.
This electric scooter was somewhat easy to assemble. I had a hard time getting the brake line into the handlebar.
Charging took about 4 hours. Weight wise, this is a hefty scooter and you will do some light lifting picking it up if you need to load it into a car.
Ride wise, this scooter has a jarring experience. I primarily ride on the road, and even on a flat paved surface, your vision looks like your bouncing super fast. It's not a fun ride, but it'll get you from one place to the other.
Perhaps if this scooter had a suspension, it would ride better?
I appreciate the flat-free tires. But there has to be a better way to improve the ride comfort.

Super cool Hoverfly GXL MAX is fun what I was expecting, this scooter is fast and has good traction.

My new scooter Hoverfly GXL MAX Electric Scooter. I couldn’t be happier with my scooter. This is my first review ever, and I felt compelled to write it because I found something I truly like on Amazon. What I Liked: Perfect Speed: The scooter isn’t too fast or too slow; it’s just right. It provides a smooth and steady ride, making it ideal for both commuting and leisurely rides.
Versatility: I now take the scooter everywhere after work and on weekends. It’s become my go-to mode of transportation for short trips around town. I currently use it at work and around downtown LA. It gets me around lunch and breaks. I love how I can take a quick ride to get coffee and still have ice in my coffee. What you'll love about this scooter is no add-ons need it. It has lights and a bell to warn people around you. GREAT RIDE

Almost 3 star

I have a number of electric scooters. To me: Suspension doesn’t feel great. The automatic cruise control is super annoying. Supposed to go 15mph but when side by side with my others it always falls behind. And those others have the same top speed.
I’m happy to see they’ve dropped the price to $360 at time of my review that’s definitely more reasonable for this scooter.
For a kid or just a casual rider it should be fine. But if you ever have ridden even the rental scooters you will see the difference.
I hate to be so negative because it’s not as bad as it sounds but i have other scooters in the same price range and I was just disappointed to say the least.

Does everything they say for the most part and can get you from A to B. Decent enough battery life as well. But keeping the things I mentioned above in mind, I stick to my 3.8/5 rounded to 4 rating

A nice zippy scooter

This thing has some pep. Decent range and quite fast to accelerate. I appreciate all of the hand controls so you don’t need to use your feet. The build quality is quite nice.

Not a fan of the wild tires as it is a bumpier ride but you don’t need to worry about flats.

A great scooter for zipping around town or campus,

It can’t hold really large people though. The weight limit is 220 I think.

All things considered it a a decent medium range scooter and Hoverfly support is good.
